How I Can help

Picture
I offer individual, relationship, and group psychotherapy to adults who would like to better manage their anxiety or depressive symptoms and work on their relationship or attachment issues. I believe very strongly in teaching patients skills they can use to soothe themselves, so that they can ease their own anxiety when no one else is available to talk them through it.

I believe in teaching mindful self-compassion--particularly compassion for the parts of us that need nurturing and comfort. I am gentle and empathetic in my approach, but I do not hesitate to offer feedback and guidance when needed. In sessions with me, we will work together to determine the best course of treatment to meet your specific therapy needs.

I prefer to work in-person in my office in downtown DC, but virtual therapy options are also available. I am a member of PsyPact, and I can often continue to work with patients even when they move out of state.

Services Offered

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
Individual therapy offers a focused space to understand yourself with more clarity. We explore the feelings and patterns that may be keeping you stuck and help you develop skills to feel more balanced and at ease.

RELATIONSHIP THERAPY
Relationship therapy helps you slow down and truly hear each other. Together, we look at communication patterns, personality differences, and emotional needs so you can reconnect with greater understanding and support.

GROUP THERAPY
In group therapy, members receive real-time feedback about how they show up in the world and how they impact others. Group members learn new interpersonal skills while also receiving support and connection from others.
