How I Can help

I offer individual psychotherapy to adults and older adolescents who would like to better manage their anxiety or depressive symptoms. I believe very strongly in teaching patients skills they can use to sooth themselves, so that they can ease their own anxiety when no one else is available to talk them through it. I believe in teaching mindful self-compassion--particularly compassion for the parts of us that need nurturing and comfort. I am gentle and empathetic in my approach, but I do not hesitate to offer feedback and guidance when needed. In sessions with me, we will work together to determine the best course of treatment to meet your specific therapy needs.
